Fundraising Success

The past month of July has been a successful one for us here at Hay Dial-a-Ride with two fundraising events taking place. The first was our vintage afternoon tea at Cusop Hall, organised superbly by Barbara Travers, one of our volunteers. Attendees enjoyed a delicious spread of sandwiches, cakes and scones whilst chatting and socialising with friends. There was also a raffle and best decorated hat competition. The event was such a success we hope to repeat it next year.

Similarly, our plant sale in Hay Butter Market was another triumph, raising £250. Thanks so much to everyone who donated plants and those who helped out on the stall. Special mention must also go to Richard Gardiner who brought lots of his delicious homemade jam.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped out with these events- the money raised enables us to keep running our vital service and supporting the local community.
