Christmas Carol Concert 2025

Friday 5 December saw our annual Carol Service take place in St Mary’s Church, Hay. It was another brilliant turn out as we welcomed over 80 supporters. The event (including our Christmas raffle which has now been drawn) raised a total of £969.99, a fantastic total and another increase on last year’s.

The service featured a wonderful performance by the Wye Border Singers, whose festive programme was warmly received by the audience. Their generosity in giving their time and talents was deeply appreciated as always. A highlight of the event was a special presentation to Mary Fellowes, who has accepted the role of our first Honorary Life President.

Our chair Gus Powell said: “We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us for this year’s Christmas Carol Concert. The funds raised go directly towards supporting local people who rely on and benefit from our service. We are also thrilled to honour Mary Fellowes, whose dedication to Dial-a-Ride has been extraordinary. Our sincere thanks go to the Wye Border Singers and to all our wonderful volunteers for making the afternoon so special.”
