    Mary Fellowes

    HONORARY LIFE PRESIDENT

Mary’s lived in Hay for about forty years and absolutely loves the town, so has tried to put something back into it. During that time she has been a town councillor, mayor, school governor and even chair of governors. However, being part of Dial-a-Ride from the very beginning is her most rewarding role, and one which she takes great pride in, having watched it grow into an efficient charity that works for the town and surrounding area with its members at the forefront.

    Nick Green

    GDPR & COMMUNICATIONS

Nick moved to the area in 2019, initially to Glasbury and now lives in Dorstone. He joined the board in summer 2025 with plans to start driving for Dial-a-Ride too in the near future.

Having worked for various large companies during his career - including Sky and Tesco and more recently being a founder and director of a leadership and team development company specialising in the pharmaceutical sector - Nick’s excited to bring some of his experience and skills to his role as a trustee.

    Richard Gardiner

    OFFICE LINE MANAGER

Richard moved to Hay in retirement in 2012 and started driving for Dial-a-Ride in 2013. He became a trustee in 2018, bringing his acquired driving experience and knowledge to the trustee group. His membership of the trustees helps to ensure that the services that Dial-a-Ride offers will continue to benefit the community.

She has worked with us as a volunteer driver for about 18 months but wanted to bring more to the organisation, given her previous experience as a senior leader in both the prison service and the probation inspectorate. Helen is an enthusiastic supporter of Dial-a-Ride and is thoroughly enjoying meeting our lovely members and getting to know the beautiful local environment.
