Welcome to Hay & District Dial-A-Ride

Our aim is to help our customers maintain an independent lifestyle, reducing loneliness and social/rural isolation and enabling residents to feel part of a thriving community. We are more than just a transport service, access to health and community services is a vital part of physical and mental health and wellbeing. Find out more about us and our people.

Our services

£15/yr

Individual membership

Hay Dial-a-Ride is a members-only service. Individual membership is £15 per annum (or £25 for two members of the same household joining together), giving you access to our local transport services, monthly social trips, monthly bank bus, prescription deliveries, newsletters and a friendly team of volunteers. Fares start at £2.50 within Hay.

FREE

Community groups

Community Group Membership is free for local non-profit groups and hire charges start at £25 including one of our lovely volunteer drivers. As there’s no charge to join, this is a fantastic community resource for Hay.

There are many different ways you can support Hay Dial-A-Ride: by fundraising, making a donation, or by volunteering directly. Whichever way you choose, you can be sure you’ll be impacting the lives of our members, and supporting them to live full, happy and active lives. Hay-on-Wye, Blakemere, Boughrood, Bredwardine, Brilley, Brobury, Bronllys, Clifford, Clyro, Cusop, Dorstone, Erwood, Felindre, Fforddlas, Ffynnongynydd, Glasbury, Glascwm, Letton, Llanigon, Llowes, Moccas, Monnington, Painscastle, Rhosgoch, Talgarth, Three Cocks, Whitney on Wye, Willersley and Winforton.  And if you don’t live in one of these communities you can still join as long as you live within a 9-mile radius of Hay-on-Wye.
